
Fran joins the Heritage Network as Finance Officer with a variety of experience in the charity sector in finance and non-finance-based roles. These include project managing the refurbishment of a theatre in a listed building, managing the finances for a community owned heritage asset, and more recently running a grassroots music venue.
Fran says: “I qualified as an accountant when I was working in the commercial sector (utilities and travel companies), and it is great to be able to bring that training and experience to life in a charity where I feel I can really make a difference. Joining the team has been an incredibly welcoming experience, and I am looking forward to supporting the Network and its Members to achieve great things!”
Fran’s role spans across all areas of the organisation, supporting with day-to-day finances as well as applying and reporting to funders, and fulfilling our statutory financial duties.
Fran is based in the North West (near Manchester) and works 2 days a week as Finance Officer for the Heritage Network, normally Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
