Historic England are running engaging Carbon Literacy Workshops and Webinars, alongside their current training programme all about Carbon Reduction: an organisation’s ability and motivation to reduce carbon emissions.

Heritage Carbon Reduction Webinars
Developed especially for the heritage sector as part of the Historic England’s wider programme of Carbon Reduction training rollout, these new webinars aim to help organisations to reduce their carbon emissions.
Topics include ‘How to get Trustee buy-in for your carbon reduction plan’, ‘Tenant/Landlord collaboration in lowering emissions’, and ‘Soil emissions in archaeology’, with more topics to follow in the coming months.

Developing a Decarbonisation Plan
New guidance, factsheets and resources are now available to help cultural and heritage organisations develop their tailored Decarbonisation Plans for their heritage buildings.
Developed by architects Haworth Tompkins, this project has been co-funded by Arts Council England and Historic England. Access these fantastic resources on their website.
