We are delighted to offer 3 new 12-month heritage traineeships, thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Historic England, Historic Environment Scotland and the National Trust for Scotland. They are fantastic opportunities for people who are seeking to start their career in heritage (such as a college or apprenticeship leaver, recent graduate or returner to work) to gain valuable experience in the community heritage sector.

Although the 3 posts are all slightly different each trainee will be exposed to everything we do, from participating in progress meetings with funders to presenting at Conference, working with our board of trustees or checking in with members’ projects during site visits. They will be supported every step of the way by heritage professionals who want to see them thrive.

These posts are intended to be starting points for those wishing to enter the heritage and community driven regeneration sectors and those with an established career in heritage will not be considered. Please note that the 3 posts have different application deadlines. Join us online at 1830 on 14th January for an information session where you can hear from some of our current trainees and their managers.
