Do you want a career working with built heritage in Scotland? Do you have the passion but don’t know where to start?

Apply now to become our next Heritage Trainee in Scotland!

Thanks to enhanced funding from Historic Environment Scotland, this role is now a twelve month paid post and candidates can be located anywhere in Scotland. The post is also supported by the National Trust for Scotland.

Working with the Development Officer for Scotland, the trainee will gain first-hand experience of the community-driven heritage regeneration sector, meeting members, shaping events, undertaking digital-focussed activities, and promoting the incredible achievements of Network members.

This exciting opportunity continues the Network’s focus on welcoming new people to sector, already evident through the Network’s Youth Forum and involvement with the Make Your Mark campaign. The previous Heritage Trainee role in Scotland received over 80 applications, with the post holder progressing onto a role with the Scottish Council on Archives.
