We’re delighted to see a number of Heritage Trust Network members have been shortlisted in the 2024 Museums + Heritage awards.
Partner Members Give a Little have been shortlisted in the Innovator of the Year category for their ‘affordable, flexible and easy-to-use cashless fundraising’. If you are a network member and would like to learn more about it, you can hear directly from Vicky from Give a Little at our Network Day next Tuesday. You can vote for Give a Little to win here.
The Churches Conservation Trust have been shortlisted in the Restoration or Conservation Project of the Year award for their ‘Bees, Bodies, Bodley – The (Re)Birth of Sudbury Arts Centre’ project.
Historic England have also been shortlisted in that category for their ‘#Rooswijk1740 – Conservation of a large maritime assemblage from the protected wreck of the Rooswijk’ project.
Birmingham Conservation Trust’s Coffin Works museum has been shortlisted in the Volunteer of the Year category. This is a particularly poignant nomination as it’s for ‘Vickie Jones: Volunteer, Friend and Coffin Works’ Champion’. Vickie was a familiar face for our staff whilst working at our Coffin Works’ office and was a lovely person who was full of creativity and enthusiasm.
Cadw have also been shortlisted in the Volunteer of the Year category for their North Wales Project Volunteers – Pod’s Pilgrimage.
If you are a network member who has been shortlisted and we’ve missed you off this list then please let us know.
We’d like to wish the best of luck to all of those shortlisted. You can find the full list here.
