Project to help cultural and heritage organisations commission decarbonisation work

By September 11, 2024No Comments

Arts Council England (ACE) and Historic England (HE) are looking for up to 4 micro, small or medium sized non-national cultural or heritage organisations that manage, use or occupy a listed building. Selected organisations will be participating in a project (November 2024 – March 2025) to develop guidance to help demystify and provide clarity on the steps and processes involved in commissioning surveys and decarbonising their buildings.

The project will fund the full cost of a range of surveys and assessments based on the whole building approach. Participating organisations will benefit from a report outlining what suitable, balanced and well-integrated interventions are appropriate for that particular building and organisation. In return, ACE and HE will use these surveys and reports as a basis to develop and make public case studies, templates and guidance to support the wider cultural and heritage sectors understand the steps and processes required to decarbonise their buildings.

Organisations must be based in England.

Application deadline: 23rd September
