Heritage Trust Network is entering an exciting new phase of our development and we are looking to engage a number of consultants and freelance associates to help us plan for the future, and implement new initiatives.
These commissions are made possible by funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for our Essential Networks project. Essential Networks is a major development and resilience project for Heritage Trust Network, our members and UK heritage.

Clarifications:
Evaluation Consultant
Data gathering, processing, detailed analysis and final report writing will be carried out by the Network staff team. The consultant will be advising on what data to gather, how to gather it, how it should be analysed, help us draw conclusions from the analysis and edit the final report.
Combined proposals
As indicated in the briefs we are happy to receive proposals which combine the different pieces of work, provided the proposals make clear which activity and costs relate to which piece of work. Once we have assed these proposals, we may get back to you and ask whether you are willing to deliver part of your combined proposal.
The exception to this is the Evaluation Consultant. We would like to see separate proposals for this work.
Conference Organiser
The maximum budget for the Conference Organiser is £12,000 (including expenses and VAT). The figure was not clear in the original document and has now been updated.
Conference will be in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. See note below about a meeting in Newcastle. It would be particularly helpful if the conference organiser could join us during that time. We are considering whether it would be useful to hold a meeting/reception for local and regional partners during that week to help engage people in preparations for the conference.
Meeting in Newcastle 6th – 9th March
Our staff team (5 people) will be meeting in Newcastle from Monday 6th to Thursday 9th March. You may find it useful to hold an in-person consultation meeting or workshop with the team during this time and include that in your proposal. If that is not possible, or not felt to be necessary, online meetings can be arranged at other times.
