We are delighted to announce this opportunity to join our staff team as the Network enters an exciting new phase of its development. Heritage Trust Network is recruiting for the full-time post of Outreach Project Officer.

This is a new position, made possible by funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for our Essential Networks project. Essential Networks is a major development and resilience project for Heritage Trust Network, our members and UK heritage.

As part of Essential Networks, the outreach project is a new pilot initiative for the Network which will identify and support community organisations in the Midlands and East of England who have taken ownership of, or aspire to own, historic buildings. The Outreach Project Officer will provide advice and support to staff and volunteers in these organisations and engage them in peer learning and networking events to ensure that are able to restore, manage and maintain their buildings and operate successfully from them. This will include supporting them to make successful funding applications.

The post is suitable for someone with a passion for, and understanding of, heritage regeneration and experience of supporting community organisations.

The post is funded for nine months.
