The Scottish Lime Centre Trust (SLCT) has announced the return of Stacey Sneddon, who re-joins the trust as Associate Director!

A skilled and experienced Building Surveyor, Stacey previously contributed significantly to SLCT’s mission, and her return marks an exciting new chapter for the trust. Her leadership and technical expertise will be instrumental in driving the organisation forward, strengthening efforts, and advancing the unwavering commitment to being a centre for excellence.

A word from Stacey:

“I’m grateful to be back at SLCT where I first developed my passion for conservation. Working alongside my colleagues here has always been enlightening and I am thrilled to be back at the heart of traditional building excellence. I hope to build on existing client relationships and explore new opportunities that would benefit the trust.”

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Iain Cram (Chairman) stated:

“I am thrilled to welcome Stacey back to the Scottish Lime Centre Trust as our new Associate Director. Stacey’s return brings not only a wealth of expertise but also a deep understanding of our mission and values. We are delighted to have her re-join the team and look forward to the fresh perspectives and energy she will bring in this new role. Welcome back, Stacey!”

The Trustees also extended their heartfelt thanks to Mitchell Fotheringham for his dedication and hard work during what has been a particularly challenging period:

“Mitchell’s commitment and efforts have been greatly appreciated, and his contributions have made a lasting impact on our organisation. As he embarks on the next stage of his career with Glasgow City Council, we wish him every success in his future. Thank you, Mitchell, and all the very best!”

For over 30 years, SLCT has championed the use of traditional materials and skills to safeguard Scotland’s historic structures. With Stacey Sneddon’s return, the trust is well-positioned to continue its vital mission, supporting communities, professionals, and organisations across the sector.
