Llanfyllin Dolydd Building Preservation Trust  are launching a new, nationwide campaign called Fix and Match. It’s to Fix the roofs and fabric and Match their grant funding.

WHY?

The trust maintains 24,000 sq ft of Grade 2* listed building and 10,000 sq ft of slate roof.  This is more than they can fund from local sources. Y Dolydd (the Workhouse) is of national importance and needs national support. Most funders expect match funding from their grantees and so it’s important to show that the trust is also raising its own funds and that it has a sound community support base.

HOW?

The trust have opened a new Fix and Match appeal page on localgiving: an online platform that attracts donations from people everywhere for local causes, reclaiming Gift Aid. The initial target is £2,000.
